Expert care and attention has been taken when creating your VFJ jewelry. Handcrafted using the finest gemstones and precious metals, these pieces require care and attention to keep their initial spark.
Polki Diamond
Polki diamonds are delicate and require a gentle hand
Polki diamonds like to be kept dry. There may be gradual discolouration over time if moisture settles into the polki diamond setting.
When you’re not wearing your polki diamond jewelry, keep it stored in a dry, room temperature space away from moisture. Wrap your polki pieces in soft mulmul or cheese cloth and place it in an airtight bag or container. Avoid storing your polki diamond jewelry in fancy boxes and pouches with materials such as velvet and microfiber - these materials tend to hold onto moisture.
When your polki diamond jewelry requires a cleaning, wipe it gently with a lint-free polishing cloth. Do not use soap and water to clean your polki diamonds. Similarly, avoid spraying perfume direclty onto polki diamonds.
Be gentle with your polki diamond jewelry to avoid any drops that can loosen settings or damage the stones.
Gold & Gemstone Jewelry
Daily wear, hand wash, cream, oil, cosmetics, perfumes and household chemicals may cloud the brilliance of your stones and dull the surface of precious metals.
We advise to always remove your jewellery when applying scent and lotions and to remove when bathing, exercising, swimming or using harsh chemicals. We recommend putting jewellery on last.
Please avoid wearing your fine jewelry to the beach as sea salt, sun, lotion and sand may change the appearance of your gems.
We recommend you store your precious jewelry in individual fabric lined jewelry pouches to avoid them tangling and scratching.
Nothing stronger then perfume free mild soapy water and a baby's toothbrush should be used to clean your VFJ collection and polished with a lint-free cloth.
Some gemstones may require more attention.
